Here I have my much loved Mk3 Cortina, owned since 2013 and took approx 2 years to restore.
Its running Ford ST170 engine with a Capri 5 speed gearbox. Running with K6 ecu
Fully pollybushed
Uprated suspention lowered 1"
Willwood break setup
Fully Reconditioned Atles rear axle
Full stainless exhaust
15" JW mini lite alloys
Whiteline anti roll bars front and rear
Front and rear seats from the Focus St170.
There are many more upgrades, the car was built to last as a fast road car.
The car was fully stripped and restored with new floor pans and replacement body panels, orginal ford parts used where possible.
The engine and gearbox were fully stripped and rebuilt at the time of building the car, all knew parts from Burton and Retro Ford used for the conversion.
The body work, sills and floor are all solid however there are a few places that could need attention.
Passanger front door corner has some rust showing, also small patch on drivers door.
Small bubbles on rear arch
Crack on bonnet next to bonnet pins.
Paint has reacted on one of the doors, this is when it orginal got spayed.
Body work is not mint and it's not a showroom car but I do stress the underside, boot and engine bay are all solid.
All work bar painting was carried out by ourselves over the last 10 years. The car has been a project of love and was built as a fast road car and has been used on occasional Hill climb (not copetative)
The car sounds amazing and turns heads wherever it goes
Unfortunately I just don't use the car and with only about 500 miles done over the last 2 years it does need to go.
I do have the orginal engine and gearbox, both was fully rebuilt before I brought the car and I did use them for around a year before fitting the new engine. They will both come with the car but if not required I will take £500 off the price.
