A product of famed GM designer, Harley Earl, the 1941 Cadillac Series 62 was a showstopper from the moment it was announced due to its more streamlined 'torpedo' design. An elimination of the earlier model's running boards and a more sloped windshield ensured the car appeared far more modern than its forebears. All 1941 Cadillacs received a 150hp 346ci 'L-Head' V8 which was more than up to the task to propel the cars smoothly and quickly up to speed.
Naturally, the cars received plenty of standard amenities, especially when ordered as a convertible. A power top, leather interior, power brakes, a heater, and an AM radio were all standard equipment on the drop-top Series 62s. As they were when new, 1941 Series 62s are well regarded by critics and enthusiasts alike for their luxurious driving experience and exceptional build quality.
This gorgeous 1941 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible Coupe featured here is finished in stunning Oceano Blue Metallic over a beautiful Tan leather interior with a matching convertible top. This investment-grade Cadillac convertible has been beautifully frame-off restored to an award-winning level. A CCCA Full Classic, the car won an AACA Senior National First Prize shortly after completion. After being acquired by CCCA Master Judge and Concours Judge, Mr. Kim Pierce of Scottsdale, Arizona in 2021, this Cadillac was fully serviced with all fluids drained and replaced. Shortly afterwards, the car was awarded a Second-in-Class and a Jerry Hanauska Memorial Award in the Forrest Grove Concours d’Elegance in 2022.
Later in 2022, this Series 62 completed approximately 1, 700 trouble-free miles in the Pebble Beach Motoring Classic and completed the Pebble Beach Tour d’Elegance. It has also received awards in numerous Northwest CCCA and Desert CCCA events. Additional servicing in 2023 included a new battery, electronic fuel pump, fuel filter, and pump switch. This incredible Cadillac checks all the boxes in regards to investment potential and is among one of the finest examples on the market today - it will certainly be a centerpiece of any automotive collection and is ready to be toured or driven by its new caretaker. We are proud to offer this exquisite, multi-show-winning Series 62 to the most demanding collector, investor, or enthusiast who desires to own one of the very best at an investment price!
