Just landed at WRCC, This superb 1970 Trafalgar Blue Morris Minor Traveller.
The ideal balance between quality and useability, i. e she is a real attention grabber but not so perfect that you would be scared to use her.
Structurally the car is good in all the problem areas with the underside, engine bay, boot floor and inner wings free from rot, nice clean and presentable.
The Travellers ash frame is also free from any signs of rot or discolouration and looks aged to perfection.
Bodywork wise the Trafalgar blue paintwork has a lovely shine shine and draws attention to her when out about, there is the odd Minor imperfection here and there but as always we would not describe anything as been perfect and it may be WRCC been hyper critical.
The chrome work, trims and lights etc are all in good order also.
As with the rest of the Minor the cabin is nice and clean and a nice place to be.
The carpets, seats, headliner and trims are all in good order although not perfect but certainly good.
Mechanically the 1098cc A series engine is nice and strong, she starts, runs and drives well.
Transmission wise she is nice and smooth as is the suspension, her brakes pull her up well too!
Overall she is a nice clean Traveller, ideal for someone that is wanting to use her.
Imagine going out for runs to the seaside, shows or the countryside in this beauty!
