Description
Fiat Coupé (Type 175) 2. 0 20V Turbo – Surely a future classic.
The Fiat Coupé (Type 175) is a car that was manufactured by Fiat between 1993 and 2000. The two-door, four-seater coupé was introduced at the Bologna Motor Show in December 1993 and features an exterior design by Chris Bangle at Centro Stile Fiat and an interior designed by Pininfarina. The car has received numerous accolades for its bold and radical styling, though it's worth noting that not all of its enthusiastic owners were the most discerning. As a result, it is quite rare to find an impeccably preserved, one-owner example like this. First registered in May 1997 to the most discerning of German owners, who sadly recently passed away, the car is indeed a credit to him. The appropriate red paint (code 168) has over the last few years received a few touches, here and there, but they are, of course, nicely documented in the cars impressive one owner file. It’s a great package for any new owner who will be thrilled with the additional set of alloy wheels fitted with winter tyres.
The performance figures for the car's final iteration are remarkably impressive for both the era and its price category. It boasts a 2. 0 20V Turbo engine with a displacement of 1998 cc, delivering 220 PS (162 kW; 217 hp) at 5750 rpm. The vehicle achieves a 0–100 km/ h (0–62 mph) time, with top speeds of 240 km/ h (149 mph) for the 5-speed variant and 250 km/ h (155 mph) for the 6-speed model. This wonderful, one owner example boasts a simply immaculate Fiat service history. No less than 16 Fiat stamps adorn the service booklet with all-important timing chain service and change completed at 94, 885 km’s in June 2019. The most recent service took place in September 2024 at 102, 000 kilometers with currently just 177 kilometers added.
