The HRG 1100 is a classic British sports car produced between 1939 and 1949. It features a 1074cc three bearing crankshaft overhead cam engine from a Singer. The engine was enhanced by HRG with improved manifolding and carburation, boosting its power output.
It is a 2-seater sports car known for excellent road holding and cornering making it extremely competitive for all manner of sporting activities.
Front engine with rear wheel drive and with synchro gearbox the HRG can reach speeds of 75mph.
Only 49 examples of the HRG 1100 were produced and this particular car is therefore very rare and highly sought after being attractive with traditional lines and of a lightweight construction.
This lovely HRG is one of the last 1100cc variants produced and presents beautifully. There is a comprehensive history folder including time spent in Germany. Also included is the original buff logbook and old blue V5 when it was registered to HRG Ltd of Dartford and the latest V5c with all correct details.
