1982 Ford Cortina P100 Pick Up with factory 3 litre Essex V6 engine

Just arrived from South Africa, this truck was owned by an elderly gentleman from new who used it sparingly until it was parked up when he stopped driving many years ago. Household goods were stored in and around it until his nephew rescued it and re-commissioned putting it back on the road for a few months prior to our purchase. We have since checked it over, fitted a new fuel pump and changed the usual service parts.
The clock shows just 38k km from new and is said to be genuine (although without being fully documented must be take as hearsay). However, the engine is the smoothest most refined Ford V6 we have ever driven and taken together with acceleration and performance to match all points to it's low indicated mileage being correct. Further evidence is that it was still running the original tyres from new on the front which we have since obviously replaced and the interior has very little commensurate wear.
The paint is all factory original but now with patina, a few dents and scratches here and there from being used as an unofficial storage skip over the years whilst the all important structural condition of the body and chassis is superb, A1 - all original and never been welded, underbody inspection video available on request.
Comes with useful removable rear canopy with windows giving extra security and could even be used as an occasional weekend camper, better than a tent!
