This really is a cracking machine, starts, runs, drives and stops well, low hours on the clock, very, very clean and tidy, super nimble and nippy little tractor, we are really impressed with it. Don’t miss our YouTube video which shows it start, run drive, turn, stop, lift, lower and a walk round.
It’s a direct Japanese import, if you’ve never heard of “Hinomoto Tractors” just Google them they are a well respected Japanese company that have been building compact tractors since 1950, you can buy an English service manual and all the service parts online form UK suppliers, see pics.
The diesel engine starts readily and runs really well, it’s fairly pokey and can travel quickly. All the gears in the simple mechanical gear box select in all ranges, no sloppy, unreliable hydrostatic drive here, just simple cogs in a box, the clutch is sharp with plenty of bite. The brakes are very good pulling up sharply with no veering to either side.
Lift arms are working quickly and smoothly and the PTO selects and stops as intended. It’s a 4 wheel drive model, simply pull the lever to engage when required, very easy to turn and manoeuvre in a tight spot. Only previously used annually with a permanently fitted rotavator, hence low hours, so it’s just had brand new lifts arms fitted and comes with a dual purpose pin / ball towing frame and new top link, everything you need to get to work.
Approx. model year 1990, this is proper solid Japanese tractor, built before accountants cut back on quality and its completely electronic free, no lap tops or technicians required to service this one.
It’s only showing 1180 hours, unconfirmed, but looking at the pedals and footplates its done very little and the clock is working. Tyres all have ample tread they do show some age cracks but there are no leaks or slows. All the fluids have been checked for level and contamination and we have checked the antifreeze mix, it’s all good. Comes with PTO cover that just bolts on with 2 bolts and will be fitted when sold, see pics.
This is a really useful tractor in great condition, very well demonstrated and at sensible money, don’t miss it.

Local delivery within 20 miles of Carlisle is normally for free, further afield we can drop it to most of the UK for £1 per road mile, one way from Carlisle, please ask for a price.

All viewings are exclusively by timed APPOINTMENT ONLY, we do not have a showroom or display area, items may have to be brought from our secure storage to view and advance notice will be required.
