Description
Ferrari 328 GTB 1987 - Developed to compete with the sports cars of the late 1980s with a bold silhouette in the elegant Italian lines of the time, the Berlineta (GTB) version is the rarest of the 328 series. It is powered by a 3. 2 litre atmospheric V8 engine that produces a fantastic 270 hp. In very good condition with a ‘Rosso Corsa’ Red exterior colour and a black leather interior. The success of the 308 meant that its replacement didn't change the recipe too much and the 328 is clearly the natural evolution of its predecessor. With slight aesthetic touches to the front and an improved interior, the 328 appeared on the market in 1985 in the GTB and GTS models. Designed by the genius Leonardo Fioravanti - whose CV includes the Dino, Daytona, 308, 288 and Testarossa - the 328 is the latest incarnation of the brand's classic design for transversely-placed central engine models, as the 348 implements a new aesthetic philosophy around a longitudinal engine. The increase in cubic capacity from 3. 0 to 3. 2 litres and power from 240 to 270 horsepower has brought better performance to the 328 compared to the 308, with other notable improvements in terms of brakes and ride comfort.
With a reputation as one of the most reliable models in the brand's history, the 328 is significantly less expensive to maintain than its successors, the 348 and F355, if only because the engine stays in place while it's being serviced. Considered by many experts to be the ideal entry point into the world of classic Ferrari, the 328 is one of those rare cases in which the beauty of its lines is unanimous and uncontested. The GTB (Gran Turismo Berlinetta) version is much rarer than the GTS (Gran Turismo Spider), with only 1, 344 units produced out of a total of 7, 412 from the Maranello factory. They were . The 328 GTB in the classic Rosso Corsa combination with black interior presented here was subjected by the previous owner to an intervention that included a complete overhaul, replacement of the timing belt and auxiliary belts, and checking the condition and maintenance of electrical components, mechanical components of the Suspension / Engine / Brake, Tyres and ceramic treatment. The passenger compartment has also been given a preventive moisturising treatment to keep it in perfect condition for many more years. * This advert has been posted as a matter of routine, all details need to be confirmed with the seller.
