1969 MGB 1. 8 Roadster. Manual with overdrive.
This beautiful example looks stunning finished in 'Tartan' red with polished chrome wire wheels and contrasting black interior. Leather rim alloy steering wheel, chrome driving lamps. The body and paintwork is exceptional, highly polished with a glorious lustre and depth of shine. The interior, hood cover, frame and chrome is excellent. The under bonnet is exceptional, obviously very well cared for over the years. All excellent tyres.
Subject to some expenditure ten years ago including new carpets, seat refurbishment, mudflaps, bonnet grill, badge bar, refurbished electronic distributor, hood cover, stainless steel oil cooler pipes etc. Very few miles covered since then, well maintained with documented services and repairs including recent service, engine tune, coil, front brake discs, pads, calipers and flexi brake hoses etc.
Driving very well indeed with a strong engine with good oil pressure and overdrive operating just as it should on 3rd and 4th gears.
In the history file, we have Mots going back forty years, service and repair invoices, old photographs and tax discs.
The recorded mileage is 70, 000 miles although this cannot be guaranteed due the age of the car. Classed as a historic vehicle benefitting from Mot exemption and free road tax although has an advisorie free Mot until October 2025.
