The 500 SL AMG 6. 0 was one of the first models produced after AMG and Mercedes-Benz signed a cooperation agreement in 1990, but before the full merger of the two companies. The 500SL AMG 6. 0 was powered by a 6. 0L version of the M119 V8 engine producing 375hp. Rare, and with a unique pedigree, the Mercedes-Benz 500SL AMG 6. 0 is a special example of early, pre-merger AMG work.
