The ethics of the Focus RS can be traced back to the late 1990s when Ford Motorsport was dominating the WRC with the Escort Cosworth. As the Focus replaced the Escort in Ford’s lineup, Ford visioned an opportunity to create a road-going version of its rally car. Developed by Ford’s Special Vehicle Engineering (SVE) division, the RS received over 70 performance-focused upgrades compared to the standard Focus, including uprated suspension, wider tracks, Brembo brakes but mention a few

With its aggressive styling, flared arches, and motorsport-inspired details, the Mk1 Focus RS became an instant icon. All panels front to rear are razor sharp gleaming and glossy in the only colour available for this model Ford paint code (Q2) Imperial Blue, This colour ensured the RS identity remained exclusive to only the special models

This particular example has the Mk2 Rs body hugging Recaro Race Bucket seats finished with Black/ Blue bolsters with a Grey centre Alcantara panelling with 'Recaro' & 'RS' emblems finished in blue stitching fitted(the choice is yours upon sale we do have the original Mk1 seats that can be fitted upon request) Both front seats in very good condition along with the rear bucket style seats also finished in Grey Alcantara and Blue bolsters which show no signs of wear, The original door cards finished in Grey/ Blue display in excellent condition along with the Grey deep pile carpet having had overmats fitted, Superb Light Grey headlining presents mark free
All switchgear remains original and works as it should along with all dash lights extinguishing in the obligatory manor, Push 'Green start' button mounted to the centre console along with the build number embossed on a silver plaque, Black stitched part leather over Grey suede 4 spoke Ford embossed steering wheel
