Initially manufactured as a T28 Startline short-wheel base commercial van, this Transporter has since been converted and equipped with all the essential amenities for camping.
Beginning with the conversion specifications, the interior is outfitted with furnishings that include built-in twin gas hobs, a sink with a water tap, a refrigerator, an Autoterm air heater, and ample storage cupboards. The rear bench incorporates a RIB two-seater bed system, with an additional bed located in the roof, making this camper van a 4-berth. At the front, the two-seater bench is fitted with a swivel base. The pop-top roof is equipped with a canopy featuring three window openings and the scenic zip option, allowing the entire canopy to be unzipped for full roof opening.
Moving to the electronics, the interior features a Sargent control panel that allows you to power the camping facilities using either the leisure battery or the vehicle battery. The panel also provides level readings for the leisure battery, vehicle battery, and water tank. Above the control panel are two switches for the LED strip lights incorporated into the cupboards, and the LED spotlights in the headlining above the sliding door entry. The interior includes various charging ports, featuring USB, 12v, and a 13-amp 3 pin sockets.
Charging for the leisure battery is available through the mains hook-up and via split charging from the alternator. The onboard water container is positioned beneath the vehicle, with the refill point located on the offside of the van. At the rear is a habitation certificated gas safe bottle locker installed with a drop vent.
The front cabin is equipped with the standard T6. 1 cockpit features, including cruise control, App Connect (Apple CarPlay/ Android Auto), and air conditioning.
