The original MG F, launched in 1993 was designed by the Rover Group while owned by British Aerospace but was only brought to market after the business had been sold to the BMW Group. In 2002 the MG TF was launched as its successor, refining its predecessor’s mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout while introducing a revised suspension system for sharper handling. The TF 160, of which we have here sat at the top of the range and featured the more powerful 160bhp VVC engine making it the most exciting variant available. Praised for its lightweight agility and driver focused experience, the TF became one of Britain’s most popular affordable roadsters.
This TF 160 with its stylish Half Leather & Grenadine Alcantara interior trim really stands out from the crowd and comes complete with the Red Tonneau cover to complete the look when the roof is folded away.
