Beschreibung:
Im März 1974 wurde der Countach auf dem Genfer Autosalon der Öffentlichkeit vorgestellt. Der Name „Countach“ resultiert aus einem Ausruf in einem Dialekt aus dem Piemont-Grenzgebiet zur Schweiz. Das orthographisch nicht festgelegte Wort Countach steht für einen Ausruf, der Erstaunen und Bewunderung in sich vereint, und kann mit „non plus ultra“ oder „nicht übertreffbar“ übersetzt werden.
Von dem LP 400S wurden zwischen 1978 und 1982 insgesamt 237 Stück produziert, wobei das hier vorgestellte Fahrzeug zu der 3. Serie gehört, von der nur 83 Exemplare gefertigt wurden.
Gemäß vorliegendem Report des Lamborghini Experten Oliver Nameche wurde das hier präsentierte Fahrzeug 1981 über Achilli Motors in Mailand an einen italienischen Discotheken Besitzer ausgeliefert. Über „Servicio Clienti“ gelangte das Fahrzeug bereits 1983 zurück ins Werk, wo der damalige Besitzer das Angebot für ein Upgrade auf den damals neuen 5000 S Motor mit 4. 721 cm³ Hubraum realisieren ließ. Einige Jahre später gelangte der Wagen an seinen 2. Besitzer in die italienische Schweiz und 2015 an den jetzigen Besitzer in Norddeutschland. Das Fahrzeug wurde vor einigen Jahren umfangreich revidiert und seitdem erst 2. 534 km bewegt. Der Gesamtzustand wie auch das originale Interieur befinden sich in einem sehr ansprechenden Zustand. Der aktuell montierte Heckflügel kann bei Bedarf ohne großen Aufwand demontiert werden. Im Lieferumfang enthalten sind außerdem goldfarbene Campagnolo Felgen. Mit ca. 89. 000 km Gesamtlaufleistung und insgesamt nur drei Eigentümern handelt es sich hier um ein wirkliches Sammlerstück.

Description:
The Countach was presented to the public at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1974. The name ‘Countach’ is derived from an exclamation in a dialect from the Piedmont region bordering Switzerland. The word Countach, which is not orthographically fixed, stands for an exclamation that combines astonishment and admiration and can be translated as ‘non plus ultra’ or ‘unsurpassable’.
A total of 237 of the LP 400S were produced between 1978 and 1982, with the vehicle presented here belonging to the 3rd series, of which only 83 were built.
According to this report by renowned expert Oliver Nameche, the vehicle presented here was delivered to an Italian discotheque owner in 1981 via Achilli Motors in Milan. The vehicle was returned to the factory in 1983 via ‘Servicio Clienti’. There, the owner at the time had the offer for an upgrade to the then new 5000 S engine with a displacement of 4, 721 cm³ realised. A few years later, the car was sold to the Italian part of Switzerland to its second owner and in 2015 to its current owner in northern Germany. The car was extensively overhauled a few years ago and has only driven 2, 534 km since then. The overall condition as well as the original interior are in a very attractive condition. The currently fitted rear wing can be easily removed if required. The scope of delivery also includes gold-coloured Campagnolo rims. With a total mileage of approx. 89, 000 km and only three owners in total, this is a real collector's item.
