Description
The Austin A60 Cambridge is a medium-sized motor car range produced by the Austin Motor Company, in several generations, from September 1954 through to 1971 as cars and to 1973 as light commercials. It replaced the A40 Somerset and was entirely new, with modern unibody construction. The range had two basic body styles with the A40, A50, and early A55 using a traditional rounded shape and later A55 Mark IIs and A60s using Pininfarina styling.
This Austin A60 Cambridge was originally registered in London on the 20th July 1966.
The car really is a lovely example and as good as it looks in the pictures. It starts and runs very well, it has a new 12V battery fitted as well as new wheel cylinders and hoses. It drives very nicely and is genuinely a joy to drive. It handles well and has 4 new tyres fitted.
There is no corrosion at all to the underside, it is as clean underneath as it is on top. The paintwork is very nice but isn't concours. The interior is also in good order and largely original, the seats are very comfortable and the carpets are like new.
We have a large history file including the current V5.
The car is MOT and TAX exempt as well as ULEZ compliant but it does also have an MOT until December 2026.
