Description

The Austin 7 is an economy car that was produced in the UK from 1923 until 1939. Nicknamed the "Baby Austin", at that time it was one of the most popular cars produced for the British market. Its impact in the UK was similar to that of the Model T Ford in the US, replacing most other British economy cars and cyclecars of the early 1920s.

This Austin 7 PD was first registered in Luton on the 24th October 1934 where more recently the car has spent a number of years in Alton, Hampshire.

The car starts and runs well, there is no frost damage and has a new 6V battery fitted. The car goes along very nicely and genuinely drives and handles very well, it has new front tyres fitted and the brakes are very good.

The car has had a lot of restoration work carried out in recent years, there is no corrosion what so ever and the body is in good shape. The distinctive yellow paintwork is of a high standard and although not concours it shines very well.

The interior is minimal but the seats have been retrimmed and in perfect order and the carpet is new.

We do have the current V5.

Please feel free to contact us for further information or to arrange a viewing - a walk around video is available that can be shared.
