Produced between 1952 and 1966, this was the first Norton model to use the 'featherbed' frame
The Bert Hopwood-designed machine was 20% more expensive than any of its rivals at the time
This, very well restored, matching numbers, example is presented in very good overall condition
Despatched from the Norton factory on 07/ 04/ 1955 to Sleightholme Motorcycles
Current owner since 2009. Restored by its previous owner in 2008 with detailed documentation of the work done. Work included an engine rebuild by Norvil, total frame rebuild and repaint including tank, dynamo and regulator rebuild, speedo overhaul, carb overhaul, new chain and battery, rim rebuilds, new brakes and new tyres
Complete with some old V5s, Norton dating letter and numerous old MOTs
Running a few years ago but will require some recommissioning before road use
