MX5 EunosTurbo (Mk1): Looks Stock/ Huge Spec/ 265bhp
Launched in February 1989 at a time when small roadsters had almost disappeared from the market, the MX5 quickly became the spiritual successor to the MGB, Triumph Spitfire or Fiat Spider. The lightweight monocoque featured a near perfect 50/ 50 front/ rear weight balance that provided neutral handling and an utterly addictive drive for any sports minded driver with a pulse.
At Milestone Classics we do have a soft spot for MX5’s - Jamie owned one for five years with regular track days - and very occasionally find one to meet our exacting standards.
Our Enus was purchased around three years ago by a local enthusiast who wanted an understated, road-legal car that was seriously quick for the odd track day with like minded friends – the final result busted the budget but resulted in one of the most capable/ well sorted MX5’s we have had the pleasure to market.
