Sunbeam was regarded as "The Gentlemen's Motorcycle" or the "Bentley of Motorcycles".. The first OHV production Sunbeams were listed in 1924 as the Model 8 (350cc) and Model 9 (500cc) . The Model 8 was the 350cc OHV sports model with bore/ stroke dimensions of 70×90 mm. The Model 8 was an excellent sports tourer of great quality. This rare Sunbeam is one of the last Model 8's made, Being a 1936 model it benefits from having the 4 speed/ foot change gearbox. Including quality refinements like the original side stand and "Little Oil Bath Chaincase", a feature for which Sunbeams have been famous for many years.
