Description
1972 Ford Mustang Mach 1 351 Cobra-Jet with 4-speed manual Toploader gearbox for restoration. This is a dismantled project car that will require lifting and transporting from our workshop and requires complete restoration. Purchased in 2011 as a uncompleted project and dry-stored since. The body consists of the Mach 1 shell and new Ram-Air bonnet and some new floor panels only. It does not come with doors or wings. Front inner wings and towers are however installed. The Mach 1 seats have been re-foamed and recovered in black vinyl but all other interior and finishings will need sourcing. Steel Magnum 500 wheels and large collection of original parts come with it. The Marti Report confirms a build date of June 1972 and was produced with a 351-4V Cobra Jet Q-code engine and 4-speed manual gearbox and 3. 50 rear axle.

The Cobra-Jet engine has been rebuilt with new parts as required by our engine builder and stored since. The Toploader gearbox is as removed.
We as a company no longer carry out restorations and only purchase cars already restored. So, this is an opportunity for a new owner to start from scratch and build a car to their own specification and standard. Ideal for a Restomod project or return back to factory.
