Description
We are proud to introduce AEX157 to the market for the first time this century.
This particular Ace left the Thames Ditton factory on May 11th, 1956, originally destined for Mitchell & Paulli, a dealer in Los Angeles, California.
The car's original specifications featured white bodywork, black trim, and a tonneau cover. We discovered the vehicle near its original delivery location in California, where it has remained its entire life.
In its early years, this Ace was cobra-ised with the installation of an early Chevrolet V8 engine, these cars were coined as a "Corvace" in the United States. Despite this modification, it retains several original features, including the front suspension, brakes, steering box, and idler system. The hinge panel numbers are intact, along with the original rear clip. Other notable original elements include the flat windscreen and AC pedals.
The Ace has also been converted to an independent rear end.
Included in the sale to support the restoration are:

-Various original AC Gauges
-Rear differential housing with ENV differential
