Description
**** This motorhome can be viewed at our premises, but it is a private sale and therefore the vehicle is sold as seen. We are simply helping out one of our fantastic long standing employees who recently retired and moved down to the West Country****
Presented here is a 4-berth Glendale Coachbuilt motorhome with a double overcab bed
and a central lounge that can convert to another double bed. The washroom has a fold up
washbasin and a Theford Campa Potti. There is also a fold away table for the lounge that is
stored in the washroom.
The motorhome has a Carver Cascade 2 water boiler (supplied with original instructions
handbook), a 3-way Electrolux fridge, a gas hob and a Warwick Deluxe oven. There is a bike
rack for 2 bikes on the rear along with a fixed ladder. On the passenger side of the
motorhome there is a Fiamma wind out awning – perfect for those warm summer evenings.
The front living area is spacious and would easily accommodate four adults at the dining
table. There are 9 overheard lockers / cupboards, pull out spice rack, mini wardrobe,
shelves and reading lamps. The kitchen area has 2 sinks and plenty of worktop space to
prepare food.
Based on a Fiat Ducato 2. 5-litre diesel chassis with a 5-speed gearbox, the MOT expires on
20th November 2025. In 2021 when the motorhome had covered 147, 394 miles, it was the
recipient of a full engine rebuild which included, but not limited to; refaced cylinder head,
honed cylinder, a polished crankshaft, new big end bearings, new main bearings, new
piston rings, new head gasket, new timing & drive belts, reconditioned injectors, new oil &
filter, thermostat and fuel filter. In current ownership it also had also the gearbox rebuilt, but
unfortunately there’s no invoice in the file. In October 2024, the motorhome had a full
service, new fluids and filters and was checked over ahead of its MOT test.
Unusually for a vehicle of this age, the majority of the instructions for the motorhome
appliances are still present, along with a UK V5c showing gross weight of 2, 900 kgs
(meaning it can be driven on a standard Category B driving license). Included in the sale are
also 2 spare front wings which appear to be new / old stock and two front headlamp units.
Approximate dimensions are 5. 7m in length, 2. 3m width and 2. 8m height. It comes
complete with a gas bottle, electric hook up cable and a freshwater tank.
This could be considered a ‘classic motorhome’ nowadays and would be perfect for
someone starting out in motorhome holidays or indeed the ideal candidate to make your
own and modernise / further improve if you wished. With an MOT in place, and showing 152, 735 miles on the
odometer, the motorhome is ready for its next adventure. The vehicle is being sold privately and as seen
and therefore no warranty given or implied. Payment to be made directly to the owners.
