Alfa Spider 1975 2000 project
Stalled project. In late 2024 we were commissioned to restore a running 1975 Alfa Spider 2000. The car was picked up by us and driven to our unit without incident where we undertook a total strip down to prepare for panel work / replacement etc prior to a full respray and rebuild. The project has now been cancelled by the client due to unforeseen circumstances and we now looking to sell off everything to an interested party. Note whilst the car was running when we received it, it is now almost totally dismantled and will require a full ongoing restoration by a third party. We would estimate the cost from this point on to be in the region of £17K+ but this is an estimate only and anyone who has restored cars appreciates actual costs tend to be higher than estimates. The car will require panel repair & replacement, some welding, paint and full rebuild. The engine was running well prior to being dismantled but no detailed inspection has been undertaken.
Note the pictures show the car in its current condition and as we received it prior to dismantling.
The potential here is significant however as once restored cars such as these are extremely collectible and fetch in excess of £30k
