motodrome offer for sale this superbly-provenanced, low mileage 1999/ V Subaru Impreza Turbo 2000 (GC8) Saloon, finished in Metallic Green with two-tone cloth sports trim.
The iconic GC8-model Impreza Turbos are getting ever-harder to find in standard, unmodified condition, and this one, having covered just 63000 miles from new in the hands of just 3 owners owners from new (the last since 2018), is a rarity indeed.
It has the usual UK Impreza Turbo 2000 specification, including rear spoiler, 16in gold alloys (shod with a matching set of Nankang tyres), sports seats etc. It even has the original Subaru radio/ cassette, but augmented with the optional 6-CD changer Also fitted with the original alarm/ immobilser system linked to the central locking., and the rare original mudflaps. We’re not aware of any modifications and it seems totally stock, even down to the exhaust and the original number plates.
The last owner kept it garaged and apparently never used it in the winter, and it comes with a fitted car cover for the garage.
History-wise it’s about as good as you’ll find. Obviously it’s an original UK-supplied car not an import, and hence we have the original service book with 17 Subaru main dealer stamps in it up to 39733 miles, and a further 11 stamps up to the most recent service, in November 2024 at 62701 miles
We further have a telephone directory sized (remember those?) file going back to day 1, including the original sales invoice from Gilegate Ltd of Hexham for £21312. 90, right through to the last service in November 2024.
It’s had 4 cambelt changes in it’s life, the most recent being in July 2021 at 59505m, with the water pump replaced at the same time.
Given it’s massive history, we’re prepared to warrant the current mileage of 63000 miles as genuine.
