The Honda FMX 650 was a Supermoto motorcycle manufactured by Honda from 2005 to 2007 at Honda’s Spanish factory in Montesa. The bike was powered by a 644cc engine cooled by blasts of wind, which was already used in the same form by the Honda NX 650 Dominator.
Apart from some restricted revving situations, the FMX 650 was an impressive motorcycle.
The bike’s aesthetic department was characterised by features such as a mudguard mounted close to the front wheel, a high-mounted fender, a small cowl with a rectangular headlight, a one-piece dual seat, dual exhausts with two mufflers mounted under the seat, an engine plate, and wire-spoke wheels with road tires.
Manufactured around a single-cradle mono-backbone steel tube frame with a 45mm inverted leading-axle telescopic fork on the front with 218mm of travel, and a Pro-Link swingarm coupled to a single shock absorber with 218mm of travel on the rear.
The FMX 650 was set in motion by a 644cc four-stroke air-cooled single-cylinder engine that delivered an output power of 39 hp at 5, 750 rpm and 54 Nm (40 lb-ft) torque at 4, 500 rpm.
