The Jaguar XJ (X350) is a full-size four-door aluminium bodied luxury saloon manufactured from 2003 through to 2009 and included a face lift in 2007 (X358). This pre-face lift ‘R’ version boats the supercharged version of Jaguar’s 4. 2-litre V8 engine, with a power output when new of 400 PS.
Finished in platinum metallic with sand leather, 20 inch Sepang alloys and mesh grille, this car really looks the part and sits well.
Supplied by Jaguar Paramount in Derby in November 2003, the original order form and build sheet are present - and the initial invoice indicates a total purchase price was £56, 515. In addition, there are lots of invoices for parts and servicing over the years, with invoices totalling over £10, 000 in the file.
The paintwork is good overall with minimal marks and signs of wear. There is a little corrosion in isolated areas, which is typical of Jaguars of this era, and the alloys would benefit from a refurb, but other than that it presents very well. New alloy wheel centre caps are also fitted. The interior is the epitome of luxury with all the wood, leather and chrome you could wish for. Sat nav also features and there are no unwanted lights on the dash. Carpet mats are fitted front and rear and there are rear blinds on the rear screen and rear door windows.
The engine sounds sweet and the car drove nicely during our video.
We believe the Jaguar is also fitted with a Tracker although we are uncertain if this is still 'live'.
Overall, this is a low owner and well-kept example of Jaguar’s flagship super saloon from the early noughties. An incredible amount of car for the money, so don’t miss out!
