How beautiful is this type of Alfa!!! Every time we see one we fall for the lines so beautifully drawn by the masters at Pininfarina. The Giulietta spider was introduced in 1954 at the Turin auto salon as the so-called 750 series. This first series ran until 1959, after which the 101 series became a reality. The differences were only minimal with a slightly longer wheelbase and a change in the design of the doors. The 750 series received a “1495” prefix for the chassis number and this continued into 1960, where early examples still had this despite being 101 series cars.
The spider we are here to offer you on behalf of its owner is one such early example. Chassis number 1495 08750 is therefore an early 1960s 101 series. It is a car that has been restored in the past and now owned by the current owner since 2012. It is a great driving car in a very nice color scheme in which the lines come into their own beautifully. the original engine was recently changed for a revised “period correct” one but comes with the car. This alfa is at our showroom in Dirksland ready for a viewing, we are happy to show it to you or take you on a test drive.
