I am advertising this motorcycle on behalf of the owner who is a friend of mine
1938 Norton International Model 40 350cc
Rigid girder fork frame
Orginal frame & engine numbers also orginal forks orginal transferable registration number
Norton owners club dating certificate to verify this machine
The orginal owner requested from the factory no lights foot change & speedo
Despached to Alexander of Glasgow 7th January 1938 the orginal took delivery of it on the 15th January 1938
Left sided oil tank filler correct for racing spec as is the fuel tank the orginal owner wanted this machine to look like the racing models
Of that era but used it for road use
Frame & fuel tank oil tank have been repainted to a good standard
Clock refurbished
New tyres & spokes
Amal TT Carburettor refurbished by Martin Bratbury
There is a small amount of work left to complete
A lot of expenese has already gone into this machine a change of circumstances has forced the sale of this motorcycle
Along with another Norton International from the owners collection
This is a fantastic Norton for somebody to own with history
