Description
1969 Triumph TR6 – UBD 413G
Originally registered in 1969, UBD 413G left Triumph’s Coventry factory on December 8th and was dispatched to British Leyland Inc. in San Francisco two weeks later. At some point, it made its way to Perth, Western Australia, before returning to the UK in 2015.
The car presents well for its age, with a solid chassis, sound bodywork, and reliable mechanics. The straight-six engine runs on twin SU carburettors, and at some stage, the steering was converted to right-hand drive.
The engine, four-speed manual transmission, and interior are all in good order. The paintwork has aged in line with a 50-year-old car, which is reflected in the price.
Included with the car are a black hood, torpedo-style door mirrors, high-backed bucket seats, a leather-rimmed steering wheel, a stereo player, over-mats, a spare wheel, a chrome rocker cover, pancake air filters, and a Heritage Certificate.
Over £5, 000 of recent investment into the car has got it driving and performing as it should.
