The VL series was built until 1936. The VLD 74ci Special Sport was a higher compression version of the VD. 1, 577 VLDs were built in 1936. We have the first original title for this Harley. German vehicle documents are now available. The Antique Motorcycle Club of America has evaluated the VLD. The document shows that 96 out of 100 points were awarded for originality. As expected, the engine numbers can therefore be considered matching numbers.
