Description
The Jaguar XK140, successor to the XK120, was introduced in 1954 and sold from '55 to '57. Where the emphasis in the construction of the XK120 was on speed, the XK 140 is built on ease of driving and comfort. This is partly due to the more modern shock absorbers. Because the engine in the XK140 is placed about 10 centimeters forward, the legroom is increased and the XK140 is more suitable for taller people.
This car has been body-off restored and still looks fantastic. This Jaguar has the C-type head that delivers an extra 20 hp. Furthermore, it has bucket seats that make it even more suitable for taller people. There are also disc brakes on the front wheels. The previous owner drove all over Europe with this XK140! The driving characteristics are therefore very good, as are the brakes, the steering and the gearbox. A beautiful XK140 for the enthusiast!
