Description
We are pleased to offer for sale this very fine example of the iconic MGB. This car was first registered in March 1971 and offers everything you would want from a roadster. Finished in surely one of the favourite colours, British Racing Green, with oatmeal interior, it stands on Minator knock-on alloy wheels and comes with the highly desirable overdrive. The car was rebuilt onto a new Heritage shell in the year 2000 and we understand that at some stage an Oselli 1950cc tuned engine (possibly Stage II) was fitted. The car is in excellent condition throughout with good paintwork – only a few minor blemishes - and a very nice interior, with leather-faced seats, matching door trims, dashboard top and carpets, all in good order. The under-bonnet area is also good, and well finished in the same colour as the car. The underside is clean and tidy and the structure appears to be up-to-the-mark, the vinyl hood fits well, has no damage and the windows are all very clear. The boot area is nicely carpeted, as you can see. The matching tyres all have plenty of tread. The car starts easily, and the engine provides bags of power with good oil pressure. Performance is very good, gear change is smooth as is the overdrive, and the back axle is quiet. This is an excellent car which we think will give you great pleasure to drive. Paperwork includes a file of invoices, MOT certificates, V5C and workshop manual.
