Originally manufactured in late 1972 and supplied to the US, the bike was imported from the US after being painstakingly stripped with the engine, paintwork and chrome work all being restored. The bike is supplied with the original tool kit, original riders handbook and a file bursting with documents, restoration and parts invoices, a breakdown of every penny spent on the bike and a letter of authentication from the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club. The bike will also benefit from a full service and MOT prior to sale.
The Kawasaki H2 Mach IV was a 750cc 3-cylinder two-stroke production motorcycle manufactured by Kawasaki and sold from September 1971 through to 1975. A standard, factory produced H2 was able to travel a quarter mile from a standing start in 12. 0 seconds. By the standards of its time, its handling was sufficient to make it the production bike to beat on the race track and was given the title "The Widowmaker". Nonetheless, its tendency to pull wheelies and a less than solid feel through high speed corners led to adjustments to the design as it evolved. More than any other model, it created Kawasaki's reputation for building what motorcycle journalist Alastair Walker called, "a scarily fast, good-looking, no holds barred motorcycle".
