Description
The Bertone Coupé is probably THE Alfa Romeo par excellence. Then as now, the simple and timeless shape from the pen of the famous Gorgio Giugaro is as inspiring as ever. The technology beneath the pretty dress also contributed to Alfa Romeo's important place in automotive history. Propulsion was provided by the most famous engine in the company's history, a Twin Cam 4-cylinder made entirely of aluminium. With its 5-speed gearbox, double wishbones, coil springs and telescopic shock absorbers, the little Gran Turismo was ahead of its time. The handling and power thrilled drivers on country roads and racetracks around the world. The 105 platform was the platform for the iconic GTA and numerous other versions. The spearhead of the model range from 1972 onwards was the GT Veloce 2000, the most sophisticated and, with 131 hp from a displacement of 2 litres, also the most powerful version of the model, which is extremely popular with collectors and enthusiasts today. This car is an early example of the GTV 2000 from Swiss delivery. Receipts totalling over CHF 25, 000 are available from the last 18 years. The bodywork and underbody are in excellent condition after numerous sheet metal parts were professionally replaced a few years ago. A lot of work has also gone into the mechanics, as well as the interior, which has also been renewed. The 2-litre engine runs perfectly and has a clean throttle response, while the sophisticated suspension with Bilstein dampers shows its qualities in the bends. The car is as beautiful from below as it is from above, no tar, only a stone guard was used. A very beautiful collector's vehicle suitable for everyday use with a fresh veteran's licence. The contemporary BWA aluminium rims are registered in the papers. Well worth a look!
