Purchased directly from the previous owner of 21 years, the car has been kept in a warm dry garage and only used on sunny days. Clearly cherished and with a with the fantastic service history this Lotus remains in excellent condition and is far superior to many Elise S1's that we have seen.
The jet black paintwork is in fine order with a deep gloss finish and without any scratches whilst the fibreglass is free from crazing, osmosis or star cracks. Likewise the multi spoke alloy wheels are in excellent condition and are wrapped in a brand new set of TOYO TR1 tyres. The black soft top fits snuggly and operates perfectly and the interior is in equally fine order with blemish free plastics, an unworn steering wheel and the cloth seats that remain stain and mark free with the exception of some very slight wear to the driver’s seat as is to be expected.
The history file that accompanies the car is extensive with numerous invoices, period road tests, an original Lotus sales brochure and delightfully the original sales invoice and pre delivery inspection form from supplying Lotus Main dealer Kinsey Jones of Cheshire.
Mechanically the car has been maintained by either Lotus main dealers or well know specialist with Rik Wood Motorsports having exclusively maintained the car since 2006 with services having been carried out at the following intervals.

The Lotus Elise S1 is a fantastic fun drivers’ car with sublime handling, and this particular car benefits from the fitment of a Janspeed sports exhaust so it sounds as good as it looks and uprated Bilstein dampers which drastically improve the ride and handling over the original Koni units, and we have no doubt it will delight its next owner.
Supplied with both keys and original book pack, the car comes supplied with a Motor Check certificate confirming the car is HPI clear and the milage verified.
