Description
The Ferrari 456 GT is the successor to a long line of luxury GTs that define the history of the Maranello brand. At the time, it was the most expensive product in Ferrari's catalogue and heralded the modernity that was required of a luxury car in the 1990s.
Launched in July 1992, the 456 featured an elegant and aerodynamic Pininfarina body and mechanical solutions that set it apart from its rivals. Although the traditional V12 was located at the front under the long bonnet, the gearbox was mounted in a 'transaxle' position, i. e. before the rear axle. This greatly benefited weight distribution and, consequently, its dynamic capabilities.
The brilliance of the chassis was almost overshadowed by the prodigious 5. 5-liter V12, an engine that, even in 2025, impresses thanks to its inexhaustible torque of 550 Nm and its impressive 442 ps, which would take it to over 300 km/ h!
This 456 GT also benefits from the famous 6-speed manual gearbox – the ideal and essential connection between driver and machine that guarantees its status as a 'driver's car'!
Sold new in Portugal in May 1994, this 456 GT is configured in the traditional and elegant combination of Nurburgring Argento and Nero leather upholstery.
It was delivered to its first owner, a prominent Ferrari collector, by Viauto in 1995 and has been meticulously maintained to this day. It is delivered with owner's manual, complete service book and duplicate key.
