EXTERIOR
Presented in timeless Grand Prix White, the paintwork appears to a great standard overall with only minor imperfections evidencing the car’s honesty, making this a very useable example to be driven and enjoyed. Both front and rear recoil bumpers are in excellent condition and the Targa top looks to have been recovered at some stage. All lights clusters and rear reflector are without damage or moisture.
INTERIOR
Inside, the Targa is fitted with black leather seats edged with white piping. All seat bolsters are in superb condition throughout. The steering wheel has been replaced with a desirable Club Sport 3-spoke wheel. All the switchgear still feels solid to operate and a JVC CD player is currently installed. The carpets are in good order throughout as are both door cards.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Under the bonnet you will find the original matching numbers M93020 engine. This has recently had a major service with our Porsche specialist including valve clearance adjustment, spark plugs, brake fluid change and all filters replaced. In 2011 at 102k miles the transmission was stripped and rebuilt with a new 3-piece clutch installed. A short-shift kit has also been fitted which gives the gearbox a more direct, precise feel over standard.
HISTORY FILE
This very smart 3. 2 911 Sport Targa was first registered in June 1985. The original Porsche document wallet, handbooks and service book are all present in the History File along with a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, spare key and remote fob, a thick raft of invoices and MOT certificates dating back to the early 90s, and the current V5C registration document showing 12 former keepers. The factory data stickers can still be found under the bonnet and in the original service book, which is also stamped with the entries below. In recent years the car has been used sparingly but, for the new keeper’s peace of mind, a major service including spark plugs, valve clearance, and brake fluid has just been carried out by our trusted Porsche specialist.
