Ford asked Cosworth to develop a turbocharged version of the Sierra’s two-litre inline engine. Built in Ford’s Genk factory in Belgium production started in July 1986 and ended in January 1987
EXTERNAL
Finished in what some say is the only colour for the Sierra Cosworth Ford (Paintcode B3) Diamond White, The paintwork throughout presents in the very very best of condition bright glossy and quite simply a testament to it previous owners, The panel gaps front to rear are consistent and true
With a unique front bumper (no scuffing) incorporating an array of large cooling intakes for the brakes and the radiator, The nose panel above(which shrouded the headlights)features a design enabling more air to reach the intercooler along with two air escape vents on the bonnet to enable the hot air escape from within the engine compartment
Wheel arch extensions were fitted joined with a side skirt, along with the legendary rear Cosworth spoiler. Exterior trims and colour coded mirrors are in excellent condition along with the original ‘Lucas H4’ headlamp glass
The undersides in very clean condition displaying the originality that has been preserved throughout
INTERNAL
Inside can only be described as a pleasure to sit in with the Ford Roma Grey Recaro seats in very good condition along with the bolsters hugging you tight on both front seats, The rear seats as you would expect are again in the best of condition, The grey lux pile carpet remains wear free along with both front door cards which present very well
The interior remains original and as per Ford specification
All switchgear works as intended, with the original Ford sound system and amplifier fitted, the LCD display to warn of bulb failure and open doors operates perfectly with all lamps elements working

The standard original specification 15 x 7 inch RS Sierra Cosworth alloy wheels are shod with Continental ContiPremiumContact 2 205/ 50 R15 tyres all round, with excellent tread remaining.
Retaining the factory standard finish, the wheels are exceptional
Diagonally split hydraulic brake circuits, Anti-lock braking assisted 28. 3cm ventilated discs up front and 27. 3cm discs at the rear bring the car to a sure and steady halt.
HISTORY FILE
Supplied new and first registered on the 15th September 1986 by leading Ford RS dealership 'Hendy Lennox' of Southampton To a Mr Cussack who retained the vehicle until September 1990, The vehicle was then sold to a friend Mr Masters in September 1990 who retained the vehicle until June 2020 some 30 years of ownership, Mr Masters ran the vehicle until 1996 upon which due to sky high insurance costs decided to cacoon the vehicle in a heated garage and remained their until he then decided it was time for the vehicle to be sold, The vehicle was then sold to a Mr Pike in June 2020 who retained the vehicle for a further three years until June 2023, Subsequently the fourth keeper purchased the vehicle a Mr Young, Due to unforeseen circumstances of losing storage Mr Young was unable to retain the vehicle,
So here we have a four owner example in very very good condition along with a traceable history of old v5 documents and previous historic invoices, Complete with dealer book pack and pamphlets
With the vehicle being stood for some 30 years re-commissioning has been undertaken back in 2021 to the tune of just over £8, 000 pounds ensuring the vehicle remained in the very best condition mechanically
