Al Melling, is famous for his engine design across many manufacturers from Lamborghini to F1 and the design of TVR’s most stunning engines, the AJP’s.
After TVR closed he launched his own business and built his own car, the prototype “wildcat”.
This is the no 5 and was the demonstrator and only one we are aware of in the UK. There may be 6 others somewhere around the world, likely the USA as 5 went over.
There is a fabulous history and story behind this car. As a prototype used as a demonstrator it sowed the seed of what could have been.
Powered by a Chevy 5. 7 V8 around 450bhp and over 400lb torque, this is a car for the for brave. The gearbox is a Tremec 5 speed and linked to a 9” American axle.
Sadly full production was never achieved so this car remains as a legacy and a little insight to Al’s vision.
In the last 5 years over £30, 000+ has been invested in the car by previous owners to improve the handling along with the fitting of power steering.
It’s been fully resprayed in stunning “Soul Red Chrystal” and the interior fully retrimmed with one off customer Corbeau bucket seats.

We have just tuned and serviced the car improved further a few more handling issues.
The car will be attending a few local car shows in the coming month so mileage will increase over its current 2, 000.
The car comes with service, fresh MOT and a 6-month Amore warranty (can be extended up to 2 years.)
