This Porsche 996 Carrera 4S Cabriolet with manual transmission is a lovely example. Finished in Basalt Black Metallic with Turbo-Look wheels, it’s a great-looking car, and being a 2005 example, it is one of the very last 996s.
The full black leather interior is in astonishing, almost as-new condition, with the leather retaining its original satin finish and there are no perceptible signs of wear. Options include fully electric seats with driver’s memory, heated seats, PCM (Porsche Communication Management with sat-nav), CD changer, wind deflector, hardtop and a Tracker. A wooden Built By Basil gearknob is a lovely touch and a joy to handle.
The service history goes right back to the original sales documents, and there is a large folder of invoices showing that the Porsche has been well maintained, regardless of cost. For example, in 2020, the car had a new clutch, suspension overhaul and various other jobs at a cost of over £4700. We shall give the car a major service before sale. Being a very late 996, it has two-year service intervals.
