Description
It’s a time to step into a piece of automotive history, with this beautifully restored 1977 Bristol Series 5. A car which has been cherished since it’s registration in March 1977. A combination of timeless design with some modern upgrades.
The new millennium also brought a new 360 5. 9 Lt engine to the vehicle and subsequent changes were the single point fuel injection and ECU along with Edelbrock Manifolds in 2011 delivering smooth and efficient power on the roads.
2011 also saw the 4-speed lock-up box with overdrive (electronically controlled Cruise Switch) offers a more comfortable and efficient ride.
In 2018 the full restoration commenced, resulting in a flawlessly built and extremely beautiful vehicle due to the final touch being an immaculate repaint by SLJ in 2019.
This is the vehicle to elevate your driving, with comfort and style.
The series 5 marked the final incarnation of the 406 based body shape and was also the final Bristol to be formed by Park Royal Vehicles, with its modified nose now featuring a de-chromed grill and elevated by the return of Pegasus at its centre! The Series 5 also marked the first of the Bristol’s to be fitted with inertia seatbelts and the introduction of “speed hold” – which, being a first look at Cruise Control as we now know it -was quite the innovation.
Previous owners have cherished the car, as evidenced by its service history dating back to 1979 and all old MOT certificates on file.
Registered 11/ 03/ 1977 this var comes with a lot of history, and perhaps it’s time for you to become the next chapter in this cars story.
