Lovely Ford Escort XR3i with only 58000 miles from new. Very solid well maintained example, Recent timing belt and other works carried out as detailed below. The car comes with the V5, two sets of keys, original handbooks and old MOTs and history. Unfortunately the car was stolen in 2015 and has a stolen recovered marker and a CAT C against it. We think its had a rear quarter replaced but do not have any photographic evidence. The car starts runs and drives perfectly and is ready to drive away.
Body - Good inner wings, floors, sills, arches. Battery tray is really good as are the inner wings. Boot well is also good. All outer panels are nice and straight and paintwork is very tidy. Good bumpers, trim, mirrors, lights. Very tidy looking car
Mechanics - Very well looked after car . Latest owner is a mechanic and he has used this car throughout last summer and had greta fun with it. The only reason its for sale is hes emigrating. It had a full service in April 2022 and a timing belt and water pump. It also had new front discs and pads, 2 new tyres, wheels powder coated, new tappets, new floor mats, rear brakjes cleaned and adjusted, new rear exhaust back box.
Interior - All standard and very tidy. Still has its original working radio cassette. Seats are good with no rips or tears.
Wheels- Original alloys which were recently refurbed and 2 new tyres fitted.
