It was the most performance focused derivative of the F Type and was the fastest (186mph/ 299kph) and most powerful (0-60mph in 3. 8 seconds) production model built by Jaguar.
Bespoke carbon fibre aerodynamic aids and a unique suspension tune ensured the Project 7 delivered a truly focused driving experience and an additional 177% downforce over the F Type Convertible at its top speed of 177mph. This was coupled with CCM brakes, Torque Vectoring by Braking and race inspired seats.
But this was still a usable ever day car with a stowable roof and 196 litre luggage space. The car weighs 1585kg, some 80kg less than the standard F Type V8S Convertible and powered by 575PS 5. 0 Supercharged engine.
With only 250 cars hand built by Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Operations team, ownership was and remains a very exclusive club.
Our car was delivered in October 2015 to its first owner, the founder of ASK Italian chain of restaurants in Ultimate Black paint and Santorini Black interior and 4-point racing harness, illuminated Project 7 tread plates at a cost of £138, 379.
In June 2016, the second owner, well known property developer, Christian Candy, bought it off his friend having seen it at a wedding and kept it until January 2018 when I sold it to the previous owner. At that point it had travelled 480 miles! I sold it to the current owner in January 2021 with 850 miles.
Current mileage is 2, 500 miles and the car looks like new! It has been serviced throughout its life at Jaguar main dealers and at point of purchase in 2021 the current owner had a ceramic coating applied.
