Offered here is a 1996 Toyota Hilux 2. 4 4x4 supplied by C D Bramall, Plymouth on 1st January 1996 and presented in Flame Red with Grey cloth interior. Now showing a modest 72, 000 miles over 5 former keepers. This example is largely in original specification with yellow and grey decals on the paintwork.
Toyota's Hilux is a nameplate that's become synonymous with capability and steadfast durability over the years. Thanks to numerous wear tests and battle-hardened experience in the field. Supplied with the V5c registration document, current and previous MOT certificates, the original book pack complete with service booklet showing 13 stamps, most recently on 29th April 2024 at 72, 500 miles.
The panels all appear to be straight and is believed not to have been used commercially. The Flame Red paintwork is bright and the engine bay appears to be free from corrosion. The load bed is smart and presentable and offered with an untorn bed cover. The chassis looks like it has been cleaned and undersealed for added protection and there are no signs of major corrosion that we can see.
Iconic styling, turbo diesel power, and enough power equipment to make daily driving a breeze, what's not to love about this Japanese Classic pickup? The interior is rather utilitarian in design, but still packs the comfort, space, and amenities necessary to make for a great truck. The timeless tweed upholstery is a perfect fit, and the seats show no visible defects. These Hilux’s and Japanese modern classics in general appear to be going in value, so snap one up before they start getting silly.
