Offered here is an early 1950 Land Rover Series 1 presented in green with green interior seats.
Featuring an upgraded 2-litre petrol engine, this S1 has a charm of its own and features the original metal ‘D’ lamps, date-stamped Serck radiator, and front spade seats.
This highly original Land Rover is finished in its original shade of green, showing signs of charming patination all around the body. The interior seats appear to have been refreshed at some point in time.
In addition to a V5, we also have a Heritage Certificate which states the build date of 8th February 1950, buff logbook, previous tax disks, previous MOT certificates, and invoices dating back to the 60s.
The vendor advises he has had the Landie running but safe to say it still requires some recommissioning. The chassis also needs attention. It presents a fantastic opportunity to purchase a largely original and unspoiled S1 with a sensible reserve price.
