We are very pleased to offer a rare example of an Alfa Romeo 156, but not an ordinary one - this is the fabled GTA with the 24V V6 engine mated to the more desirable manual 6-speed gearbox. A great combination! Then there is the looks of this Italian beauty, finished in classic silver with black leather, with 17” ‘telephone dial’ alloy wheels and red calipers, and the GTA body kit. All in all, a superb looking car. Then there is the noise it makes, nothing quite sounds like an Italian performance engine.
This Alfa was supplied new to its first owner on 31/ 5/ 2002 by Mervyn Stewart Ltd Alfa Romeo in Belfast, and it has only had 5 owners in total. It comes with its full book pack from new, complete with a service book containing 11 stamps. This is backed up with a host of bills and receipts, latterly from Alfa specialists MVC in Manchester and Veloce in London. These invoices add up to a lot of money, but it is over a long period of time and is only routine maintenance and servicing. This does indicate that the Alfa has been cared for, which is important to know. There is also a collection of MOTs, an older HPi alongside the current one showing it is all clear, and it even has its spare key, again giving you an idea how well it has been looked after throughout its life. Being an Alfa, there are one or two body imperfections but not much.
Opportunities like this don’t come along very often, and we think we can say with some confidence that this will without doubt become a very sought after hot classic saloon of the future. It probably already is! These cars can only get rarer, so get yourself one while you can, as you may regret it if you don’t.
