Description
MGB GT: Nightfire Red/ Oatmeal Leather/ Overdrive
The MGB GT, designed by Pininfarina, was introduced in October 1965, and can claim to be one of the earliest sports hatchbacks to go into volume production. The rear deck offers excellent luggage space with a 2+2 option and improved aerodynamics gives the GT a top speed in excess of 100mph.
We are always on the lookout for nice MGB GT’s and we were therefore delighted when the owner of this lovely example asked us to consider a part-exchange of cherished GT for another Milestones classic
The previous keeper had owned the car for nearly 20 years and during this time he had maintained his car to the highest of standards with regular servicing and maintenance.

Today the BGT presents extremely well and is a real credit to the vision (and financial commitment) of the previous owner. The Nightfire paint work is outstanding while the oatmeal meal interior/ red piping/ walnut dash makes for a stunning combination – the car simply receives positive comments every time you park!
Mechanically the MG drives exactly as you would expect while the overdrive gearbox ensures the GT can cope well with modern road conditions
There is a large history file going back to 1990 containing old MOT’s, lots of invoices, photographs of the car etc.
Ready for a road trip on the North Coast 500 with soft bags and partner, displayed at the local classic car show or simply a drive down to the local pub, this stunning classic is ready to use and be enjoyed by her next custodian.
