Description

Jaguar became modern with the brand new 2. 4 limousine presented at the London Motor Show in autumn 1955. In October 1959, the further development Jaguar MK II was presented. This elegant high-performance limousine was much more modern and lighter. The engine displacement ranged from 2. 4 and 3. 4 litres to 3. 8 litres in the six-cylinder version. In 1960, Jaguar built 100 vehicles per day.

Our Jaguar MK II limousine has the large six-cylinder engine and is one of the rare Vicarage conversions. Vicarage has been dedicated to refining and improving Jaguar MK II models in particular since 1984. Hence the extensive special equipment on this saloon, which was converted in 2003. Vicarage’s work involved the extensive dismantling of the base vehicle. The bodyshell was painted and protected from rust using modern methods. After completion, a Jaguar MK II as good as new stood on the road. The invoice from 2003 was approximately £75, 000 (GBP). Here you can buy a near-mint classic that can do everything better, an uncomplicated Jaguar MK II also for long journeys.
