It is a last of the line, facelifted, 2004 Fiat Barchetta Emozione S, Left Hand Drive, as they all were, and finished in Black with Grey Interior. She has the ultra rare Air Conditioning fitted, she only has had one lady owner from new until 2 years ago when we supplied the car to its second owner. She is now showing a genuine 14k genuine miles from new! So you could say this is a rare find!
Designed by Andreas Zapatinas with model-distinctive cat-fish jaw, the Barchetta was launched in 1995 with up to 6000 cars a year being produced at Chivasso until mid-2005, by when Fiat estimated that 1575 of the roadsters had been UK registered. Only manufactured in left-hand drive, the front-wheel drive Barchetta was the first Fiat to utilise variable valve timing technology. Barchetta owners have the benefit of galvanised body panels, Macpherson struts at the front with an anti-roll bar and rack and pinion steering, trailing arms at the rear with coil springs, telescopic dampers and an anti-roll bar, and anti-lock disc brakes all round, ventilated at the front. The fuel-injected, all-alloy, double overhead camshaft four of 1747cc capacity has four valves per cylinder and produces 131bhp at 6300rpm. Magazine road tests of the period reported that the 1060kg Italian achieved a 0-60mph time of 8. 7 seconds and had a top speed potential of 118mph.
So this is a very rare Emozione - S Model, a personal import in from the official Fiat dealer in Graz, Austria, these cars were hard to come by in UK Fiat dealerships in 2004 and almost impossible with Air Conditioning. We have a Full Service History from new including the original purchase invoice She comes with all the book pack from new and is in an immaculate condition. Ther is a 1cm tear in the soft top window due to it being down all the time, this is the only wear we could find on the car! The car was first registered in the UK on 1st October 2004 / '54 Registration. This car comes with All Invoices, Books, History, Documents From New, Air Conditioning, Colour Coded Hard Top, Soft Top Roof, Wind Deflector, 3 Keys.
