Here at RFH Classics we are pleased to be able to bring you this stunning 1964 (B) Vauxhall Victor FB Series Saloon that we supplied to the previous owner around 2 years ago and just taken it back into stock. These are the library pictures from when we had the car previously, new photos to follow shortly. This now rare and beautiful example of the FB Victor is finished in Grecian White with a Carnival Red contrasting roof and the Red Vynide interior trim. We had a look at how many of these are now registered or SORN'd in the UK now and this indicates there are only 10 road registered and a further 10 SORN'd of which only 5 in total are 1964 cars so you won't be seeing many of these FB Victor's on the road let alone one that is as clean as this example that clearly has undergone an extensive restoration program to probably be one of the nicest available for sale today.
For a car that is now over 60 years old it comes with a low ownership record with it only having 3 former owners. Our checks indicate the initial owner is recorded as owning the car for the first 56 years of its life and we are lead to understand it was just after this that the car was restored. Under the bonnet the power is derived from the larger 1594cc engine that was introduced in 1963 and is paired to an All Syncro, 3 Speed Column change gearbox. This car is fitted with what would have been the optional heater which is a luxury we come to expect as standard today. The FB was a very popular car from when it was first introduced on 1960 and Vauxhall went on to build a reputed 328, 000 before the model was replaced by the FC edition in late 1964.
